Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Arizona and have lived all over the greater Phoenix area. My husband’s career has relocated us to Oklahoma City, but the valley will always be home, that I return to as much as I can. Being a native allows me to give insight into the valley’s lifestyle, activities, and real estate market.
How did you get started in marketing?
I started out as a social media manager for several small businesses. The digital world is ever-changing and a difficult, yet necessary thing to utilize. I noticed how much business owners needed to maintain an online presence and build connections with their clients, so I set out to help fulfill that need.
What do you think sets the Nelson Group apart in the real estate market, especially when it comes to marketing?
Team collaboration plays a huge role in our marketing success. We are in constant communication about market trends, what’s been successful for clients, and how to translate that across platforms. I also get a behind-the-scenes look at how incredible this team of realtors is — how hard they work and the values they hold. Their character and expertise are truly worth showcasing.
What advice would you give people new to the Valley?
I recommend exploring each city at least once, not just the one you first chose. During my time in Phoenix, I lived in nine different cities across the greater Phoenix area. Each one has its own unique qualities and quirks — and the residents will definitely tell you about them! With so much growth happening in the Valley, it’s important to find the area that best fits your lifestyle.
