Windsor Square

Windsor Square

It’s been such fun touring my own neighborhood with clients lately. So many people have asked to look in this little area – with good reason! Homes here are the kind from yesteryear with large, grassy yards, lovely rooflines, loads of builtins and charm in spades.

A few of the homes were built in the 1920’s and 1930’s while most of the homes are from the 1950’s and some of the original owners still live here. Many are passed down through families, a couple have been traded by neighbors and some have waiting lists and standing offers to purchase should the owners ever want to sell.

It’s one of THOSE neighborhoods….

Close to everything but tucked into a little enclave all its own. When we moved into Windsor Square in 2005 it was a darling little community with an incredible location and an active group of residents intent on keeping the charm and sense of community alive. We were instantly smitten!

Over the years it’s flourished, becoming a haven for young families, retirees and everyone in between who want a close-knit group of neighbors and walking distance to many of the best schools, shops and restaurants. We now have a Kids Club, movies in the park, Dinner Clubs, Wine Club, a bi-annual home tour and so much more. It really is an incredible place to live!

In addition, it’s won awards both locally and nationally including:

  • Top 10 Neighborhoods in the US – Money Magazine 2013
  • Best Neighborhood 2016 – Phoenix New Times
  • Hottest Intersection 2017 – Urban Land Institute

Since so many of my friends, clients and acquaintances have been asking about the neighborhood I wanted to share my Windsor Square Insider’s Guide I give clients with everyone. Enjoy!
